I picked this quilt because it is one of my firsts. This is the first quilt I stippled on my machine (and it shows) My house is full of yellow and red so this is a nice break from the norm. This quilt is actually inspiring me to repaint my home. The colors are so relaxing and "cool" 
I have also learned that moda fabrics are the best. It is worth it to spend more money on the good stuff. Oh and I didn't use a pattern for this, just went with it.I also realized that hand stitching the binding is the way to go...nothing compares, this is also where I mastered my corners..I just love the binding on this, don't you?
And the back is also from the Urban Couture line....butterflies with swirls, it is so relaxing.
