a new dress...

Today I am sharing a dress I made for my daughter....

My experience is paying off!  ...however, i'm not going to put away my seem ripper quite yet!

This is the best work I have done on gathering to date.

And then I managed to intall a zipper and an eyehook at the top of the zipper.

And here is the overview!
     
Mccalls 5838 is the pattern I used.

    this is so adorable....i wish i could sew with patterns but they just confuse me terribly!!
